Next week is the season 2 finale for Falling Skies and all bets are off on what happens. The episode starts where the last one left off with a military coup at the helm of General Bressler (Matt Frewer).
2nd Watch will be LIVE with the cast of Falling Skies and directors. The live show will take place directly after the show at 10pm EST on TNT and will be hosted by Wil Wheaton.
After 2nd Watch tune into our podcast which will feature Falling Skies Cast Dylan Authors (Jimmy), Brandon McLaren (Jamil) and more (subject to change). We will also talk with Shannon who won a walk on role for season 2 in the finale and discuss the cliffhanger that will leave all of us on the edge of our seat until season 3.
Here is a preview of what is to come in the finale.
“When skitters approach the newly combined resistance force, the groups’ interaction surprises everyone. Meanwhile, Tom finds out life-changing news just as the 2nd Mass comes face-to-face with their most dangerous threat to date. Terry O’Quinn guest-stars.”
Charleston was not what they expected. Manchester (Terry O’Quinn) is a dictator with a paranoia about fighting the aliens. He just wants to sit back and pretend they wont ever find them. After rounding up members of the 2nd mass, the General declares martial law and arrests Manchester.
A de-harnessed boy shows up looking for Tom and Tom wants to go meet red-eye but Manchester didn’t want to allow it. With the military in control now Tom gets the go ahead to meet with red-eye. The preview for the finale shows us that the mission is “a suicide mission” that Tom wants to go on. It also appears the 2nd mass is geared up for a fight.
The preview tells us not to miss the last 5 minutes and shows something falling from the sky. We say don’t miss a single minute of the entire episode. In our recent interview with Peter Shinkoda and Connor Jessup during our podcast we found out the finale is going to be explosive.

Peter: The finale will be big, there will be a huge fight, as you might expect from a war show. It will be dangerous and the most ambitious thing they have done yet. The writers wanted to top last years cliffhanger and they have done that.
Connor: Ben does return and there will be developments with his character and what he knows that will play a major role in the finale and the firefight to come.
