Canada’s Space Channel picks up ‘Falling Skies’ this October

With season 3 getting into production this month, the Space Channel in Canada has picked up Falling Skies to start airing this October. The cast of the show who are from Canada have had a quiet time in Vancouver filming the show because Falling Skies has only been available recently on Super Channel. Super is a premium channel (much like HBO in the US) and not many people get it.

This new exposure in Canada is sure to increase the viewership of the show and interest in the cast who are filming in Vancouver. SPACE is Canada’s national science fiction, horror and fantasy channel. SPACE focuses on genre programming like Falling Skies, making its viewers a perfect match for the show. SPACE is a division of Bell Media, which is owned by BCE Inc. (TSX, NYSE: BCE), Canada’s largest communications company. For more information about SPACE, visit spacecast.com.

Falling Skies will begin airing on Space Mondays at 9 p.m. ET beginning October 8
