‘Revolution’ sets record for NBC with 11 million viewers

By | Posted on 18 September 2012

NBC was #1 with adults 18-49 last night and total viewers. Helping those numbers was a strong showing for Revolution, the new JJ Abrams-produced thriller. With 11.7 million viewers, Revolution managed a very strong 4.1 rating in the adult demo. According to EW, this is the biggest drama premiere in 3 years on any network and the biggest drama premiere on NBC in 5 years.

The only downside to the ratings is that the 4.4 in the first 30 minutes dropped to 3.8 in the second half. This means some viewers tuned off after the first half of the show. The 3.8 is still a strong number for NBC and will prove to be around what we should expect for next weeks episode.

Be sure to tune into next weeks episode at 10pm EST on NBC.
