The Walking Dead Season 3 Webisodes – A Fan “Fix” While We Wait

By | Posted on 04 October 2012

The season 3 premiere of AMC’s The Walking Dead is still several days away and if you’re a fan like me you could really use a little something to help you get by until the premiere on Sunday, October 14 (9/8C).  Well, fret not because just like last year the good people at AMC have been kind enough to provide us with a 4-part webisode entitled “Cold Storage” to hold us over.  Each webisode is about 5 minutes long, so this is a nice gift to have while we wait impatiently for season 3 to begin.

From the article on AMC’s blog:

For the second consecutive year, AMCTV.com is launching The Walking Dead original webisodes. Titled “Cold Storage,” the web series is developed, produced and directed by Emmy Award winning special effects guru Greg Nicotero. The four, five-minute shorts were produced by Generate for AMC and are now live on AMCTV.com.

“Cold Storage” tells the story of a young man, Chase (played by Josh Stewart), trying to reach his sister in the early days of the zombie apocalypse. He finds temporary shelter in a storage facility run by a former employee named BJ (played Daniel Roebuck); however, things are not what they appear.

In addition to Stewart (The Dark Knight Rises) and Roebuck (Lost), the cast of “Cold Storage” includes Cerina Vincent (Cabin Fever) as Kelly and Chris Nelson (Kill Bill) as Harris.

To watch the webisodes you can either head over to the website by clicking here or just watch each right here.  I’ve embedded them for your viewing pleasure.

Editor for Three If By Space. Tom first became interested in science fiction & science as a very young child thanks to his parents. His earliest memories of enjoying scifi were sitting with his dad watching first-run episodes of the original Star Trek. Although a rabid fan of nearly all forms of scripted television, some of Tom’s favorite shows are Firefly, Falling Skies, Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, the X-Files and all versions of both Star Trek and Stargate. He also has a particular love for British television and dearly hopes to one day visit the UK.
