Its award season and with the Oscar nominations in today and the Golden Globes starting soon its time for us to announce the nominations for the TiBS First Annual Scifi Awards. These awards honor the actors, actresses and writers who created the best shows in our genre. What makes these nominations even better is they are nominated by the fans.

Unlike many modern award shows where a group of ‘members only’ nominate their picks for awards, TiBS Science Fiction Awards are all picked out by fans of the actors, actresses and the shows. After we announce your picks, we will open them all to voting by the public. Because the staff at Three If By Space are all fans too, we added 2 staff pick categories and a few selections of our own.

Voting isn’t the only benefit you will have from voting your favorite show or actor for a category. Each vote you enter will give you a chance to win a group of prizes we will be giving out after the winners are chosen. Some of those prizes include: Falling Skies Pins, Dark Horse Comics, Warehouse 13 Trading Card Pack, Falling Skies Trading Card packs and exclusive TiBS Dragon Con shirts.

Voting rules are pretty simple, you are allowed to vote once per day per email. If you have more than one email, vote with your other email. Vote every day for your favorites. Spread the word to your friends on twitter and facebook. We will setup special links you can use so referrals you send for voting gain you additional entries to win prizes.

VOTING IS CLOSED. WINNERS ANNOUNCED HERE.
