Defiance has always been about changing the way we watch TV and game. Many didn’t think the show would make it, being that it was far too ambitious for a basic cable channel. Press sat down with Executive Producer Kevin Murphy at Comic Con and he explained to us why basic cable is bringing some of the best shows on TV. Other networks like TNT have brought us shows like Falling Skies or AMC’s The Walking Dead, all of which are breaking the mold for genre TV today.
