Falling Skies is entering the half way point of its 4th season tonight and Maxim’s character continues to get angry much like Ben did in season 2. However, Matt has an advantage that Ben didn’t, and that is a father figure around to help teach him about the world they now find themselves in with Weaver. Press had a chance to sit down and talk with Maxim Knight and his alien co-star Doug Jones about Matt’s character grow. We also discussed the Volm’s decisions to hide what little information they have.
This sunday, we will learn just how much the Volm know but haven’t told us. The most shocking information will be revealed tonight and it has ramifications for Lexi and the others that nobody saw coming. The real question is how they plan on dealing with it. With the Volm fleet off fighting the Espheni on another world, Earth is left with only a small recon team that is headed up by Cochise.
Falling Skies was recently renewed for a 5th season 10 episode order. It was also announced that it would be the last season for the show. While that is sad to hear, it also means the show runners have the opportunity to wrap up the story and not be left with a cancelled show and no conclusion. Whether that conclusion is a happy ending or not.
