As though there wasn’t enough magic and mystery already in Shadowhunters, this week Clary is going to another dimension! (Jace too?) Meliorn followed through on his gift of gratitude to Clary.
Domestic bliss with her parents? Quite a long way from the chaotic and dangerous life Clary’s been living recently!

From the first part of the preview video, it looks like this other dimension is great! Clary’s parents are together, Simon and Izzy are a couple, Clary and Jace are a couple, and this photo looks like Alec and Magnus are a couple! Happiness all round, right? Perhaps Clary SHOULD get ‘stuck in that world forever’.

On the other hand, the last part of the video is more of what we’re used to from Shadowhunters: danger, fear and pain. It looks like Valentine’s evil experiments are happening in that Universe. Can Clary and Jace stop him? Can they rescue Joscelyn? Alec and Jace still share their souls through their Parabatai bond. Has Alec asked for their Parabatai bond to be broken/removed? Neither one of them is enjoying it, whatever is happening! Will they survive?
