During the Attack Festival live-reading event at the Tokyo International Forum, the production company and cast of Attack On Titan unveiled a season 2 visual. They also revealed that season 2 is set for release Spring 2017. The long awaited announcement and date matches what we previously reported about the production of the new season.
Many were worried that production was either delayed or stopped altogether. The main staff that was apart of season 1 is returning with Tetsuro Araki taking on the chief director role. Masashi Koizuka is moving from episode director to director. Below are tweets directly from the official twitter account for the series.
