Grimm – NBC Friday Oct 21st 9/8c

Remember the fairy tales your parents used to tell you before bedtime? Well, those weren’t stories, they were warnings.

“Grimm” is a new drama series inspired by the classic Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Portland homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli, “Turn The Beat Around”) discovers he is descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as “Grimms,” charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world.

This series is a unique combination of Law and Order Meets Buffy. The innocent tales of your childhood are turned into nightmares of reality mixed in with family history, mythological creatures, and some cop drama.

Our opening episode starts off with our lead character Detective Nick seeing things and not being sure why he is seeing them. What he seems would scare the crap out of anyone. He finds out from his mother who is on her death bed that he is one of the last of an ancient blood line called “Grimm”. This new truth leads him into many dangers lurking in the shadows and to an unlikely friend who is fascinated by meeting a Grimm.

Here is a sneak peek at the series which premieres Oct 21st on NBC.
