Episode 2 continues to impress and inspire us all to come up with really cruel ways to torture king Joffery for the little **it he is. They continue to separate the episode into glimpses of each of our key characters and places in westeros. Granted there is a lot of ground to cover, so we are going to split this up by location.

The Kings Road – Headed to the wall

Arya is ever the short tempered one, taunting the prisoners in the cage after they continued to tease her. Gendry warns her to stay away, she claims she isn’t scared of them. He points out that she is stupid if she isn’t, cause he is. All of  sudden gold cloaks from kings landing show up with a warrant for the arrest of one of their “gutter rats”. Arya hides, thinking they are after her. Yoren holds a knife to the soldiers leg and threatens them to leave or be killed. They say they are looking for someone called Gendry with a bulls head helmet and that these is a reward and they ride off. Gendry knows Arya is a girl and Arya spills the beans about her true identity, to which Gendry apologizes for his behavior around her.

King’s Landing

Tyrion comes home to find his girl Shae talking with Lord Varys. Sahe kept the story that her and Tyrion meet in the kichens. Lord Vary’s assures them that her presence will remain secret. Tyrion is no fool and knows when he is being threatened. He tells Varys he is not Ned Stark and if he is threatened again, he will have Varys thrown into the sea.

In the small council Cersei starts to read the demand letter from Robb Stark but she quickly rips it up and tells her cousin to go back to Robb with her reply. Tyrion suggests they at least send Ned’s bones back as a sign of good faith, but Cersei is only concerned the Jamie knows they have not forgotten him.

News comes from the wall stating the cold winds are raising and requesting more men, claiming dead men are coming to life. Cersei mocks the whole idea, but Tyrion knowing the Lord Commander to be a man of honor and truth knows differently.

Craster and the North Lands

The question still lingers as to what happens to Crasters sons, as he takes all his daughters and marries them. Sam asks for Jons help taking one of the daughters with them, who is pregnant with a boy, but Jon refuses stating the Lord Commanders orders.

"Game of Thrones"

The Red Waste

Daenerys and her group are low on food and water and can only hope that one of the riders found some place for them to go. One of the horses does return, but without its rider. In fact it comes back with just the riders head, Rakharo’s head. She vows revenge.

Kings Landing

Tyrion shares a drink and dinner with Janos Slynt, former leader of the city watch and a new Lord, who killed the baby in Petyr’s brothel. Tyrion suggests Cersei gave the order to kill Robert’s bastards but it appears that wasn’t the case. Tyrion tells Janos he has no honor and stripes him of his role and title and has him banished. Bronn is now leader of the city watch.

The Iron Islands

Theon makes dock at his home land and looks for a ride to his fathers castle of Pyke. A woman picks him up and he hits on and gropes her all the way to the castle talking about being the next king of the iron islands. Theon greets his father but his father doesn’t greet him back with open arms. He mocks his dress and then asks if he paid gold or “the iron price” for the items he is wearing. Theon says gold and his father rips the metal off him and throws it in the fire. Balon feels his son is gone and that the Starks made Theon a Stark.

The woman Theon rode with comes in and to his surprise, it was his sister. Balon says they will not help Robb Stark and she will lead any boats or army that Balon sends into war. Theon comments they won’t stand a chance against the Lannisters, to which he replied “who said anything about the Lannisters?”.

Dragonstone

Davos makes a pitch to some pirates to aid in their bid for King’s Landing promising gold. Melisandre comforts Stannis as he is unsure he can beat his younger brothers much larger army. She comes on to Stannis saying that his wife cannot provide him with a son but she can.

Beyond the wall

Jon sees Craster walking into the woods with a baby boy, he wants to know what happens to them. After following for a bit, he sees the child on the ground crying while a huge black figure comes up to the baby and picks him up, and deep blue piercing eyes stare back at hime just as he is knocked out by Craster.
