From the creators of The Blair Witch Project and the executive producer of The Lord of the Rings comes a ‘new vision of evil’ entitled Lovely Molly… Even if you are not a diehard horror fan, I believe you will enjoy this film. Taking the modern approach of a documentary style storytelling, Lovely Molly walks us down the path of a recovering drug adict whose traumtic childhood is the core of her present situation.
As a child Molly and her older sister Hannah survived horrible tragedy after tragedy. Their mother died of a mysterious blood disease and their father, who was suspected of abusing the children, was found dead at the bottom of the stairs bludgeoned by a screwdriver.
Soon after, Molly’s behavior and mental health became unstable. She started hearing dark voices in her head, and she turned to drugs to silence them. It wasn’t too long before her Uncle committed into a mental institution. The question for her doctors: Was Molly suffering from schizophrenia or flat out hallucinations?
