UPDATE: Thanks to the good folks over at the BBC, there are now 8 more images at the end of the set, bringing the total to 33 preview images!
While all good Whovians wait in anxious anticipation for each and every new installment of Doctor Who, the next episode has us all just a little more excited than usual, if that’s even possible. As the title implies, we’re finally going to see more of the interior of the TARDIS than just a few random corridors.
Over the years there have been a number of rooms shown, mostly during the “classic” episodes, but never before has there been a story promising to showcase the labyrinthine workings of our favorite blue box. BBC America has provided twenty five preview images of the upcoming episode, either to help sate your appetite for discovery, or perhaps to whip you further into a frenzy. Take your pick.
A spaceship salvage team drags the TARDIS on board, sending its systems into meltdown. As the Doctor marshals the motely salvage crew outside, he realizes Clara is still trapped within his malfunctioning ship, pursued by a dangerous group of ossified monsters. He has just 30 minutes to find Clara and save his TARDIS before it self-destructs.
Doctor Who airs on BBC America Saturday nights at 8/7c, immediately followed by Orphan Black and The Nerdist.
So…what are you doing this Saturday? I know, silly question.
