3 Previews for Doctor Who 713 “The Name of the Doctor” – Season 7 Finale

Sadly, we’re down to one last episode for the split season seven, but this season is going out with a bang.  So many loose threads, hints, and promises from previous episodes, and even seasons, are said to be tied up in this grand finale.  With so much supposedly happening in this final installment I wish it was a two hour movie, but I’ll be happy with what we get.

Official Synopsis:

Clara is summoned to an impossible conference call, alerting her that the deadly Whisper Men are closing in on Vastra, Jenny and Strax. Someone is kidnapping the Doctor’s friends, leading him toward the one place in all of time and space that he should never go. It’s a deadly trap that threatens to unravel his past, present and future…

As per usual, to tide you over during the very long week of waiting ahead of us there are preview trailers to keep you crazed until the episode airs.  This time instead of two, there are three trailers; two from the BBC and one from BBC America.

The first of the two from the BBC is the “Next Time” trailer you likely saw at the end of Nightmare In Silver.

The second trailer from the BBC is a TV trailer and it gives a tiny hint about Clara Oswald.  If you look very closely and quickly at the 0:13 mark you’ll see an old-fashioned yellow car speed by.  Fans of the third Doctor, John Pertwee, will recognize that car as good, old Bessie!

The third and final trailer comes to us courtesy of BBC America.  Savor these trailers, they’ll have to hold you over until we can bring you an image gallery and some sneak peeks later in the week.
