New “Gravity” Trailer – In Space No One Can Hear You Barf

The first trailer we posted for Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity was actually a compilation of 3 separate clips mixed in with the teaser trailer.  With that in mind, I suppose you can call this UK trailer the first “full” trailer for the head-spinning space thriller.  It really doesn’t tell much more about the story than has already been shown, but it’s always fun to watch things go boom in space, ain’t it?

For those of you who laugh at the very idea of vertigo Gravity will also be released in 3D to further test the dauntlessness of your digestive system.  Just be sure to save that popcorn bucket.  You might need it later.

Stomach contents still firmly ensconced behind your belly button?  Let’s see if we can do something about that.  Check out the first trailer I was telling you about in Gravity – Extended Trailer Will Have You Holding Your Breath and see if your lunch decides it’s time to see the light of day again.

Plot Outline:

Academy Award® winners Sandra Bullock (“The Blind Side,” “The Proposal”) and George Clooney (“Up in the Air,” “Syriana”) star in “Gravity,” a heart-pounding thriller that pulls you into the infinite and unforgiving realm of deep space. The film was directed by Oscar® nominee Alfonso Cuarón (“Children of Men”).

Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone—tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness.

The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left.

But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.

Gravity opens in US theaters on Friday, October 4, 2013 and in UK theaters on Friday, November 8.
