Firstly, I apologize for the little hiatus I’ve taken. It’s been a busy month and I completely forgot to write something up! Secondly, I don’t think I’ve covered much hard rock/metal type of bands, so that’s what I’ve chosen for this week. Honestly, there are many hard rock bands that I just don’t care much about, but Heaven Below is one I actually rather like. I found these guys on Reverbnation, pretty much one of my favorite go-tos for upcoming indie bands (if you haven’t noticed by now.) Heaven Below is a Los Angeles based band with Patrick Kennison on lead vocals and guitar, Jess “Bawls” Billson on lead guitar, John Younger on bass and Aaron Rossi on drums and have been around making waves on the hard rock scene since 2009. They have a Guns N’ Roses/Metallica kind of vibe and have released multiple EPs and singles with their most recent EP (The Deadlight Sessions) release in August of 2013. If you’re a fan of hard rock, then I suggest you check these guys out…and then spend your monies on some of their music!
