BBC America has just given us a dozen more images from the Doctor Who 2013 Christmas Special – The Time of the Doctor to keep us busy until the 25th arrives. The image above looks as though it could be from early on in the episode when the TARDIS lands in what will surely appear as a quiet winter scene, but one that will quickly turn menacing.
And speaking of menacing, how strange is it to see a wooden Cyberman? This is very reminiscent of the 2011 Christmas Special, The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe. I wonder if there’ll be any connection?
Here, Clara is sitting in a chair that appears to be made of wood…LIKE THE CYBERMAN! Run, Clara!
And another wooden Cyberman just loitering in the street. That could be dangerous, you know.
Well, this is much better. Proper metal Cybermen to upgrade you…properly.
Daleks and explosions seem to go together like fish and chips.
The Doctor is wearing what looks like a magician’s cape and brandishing a Dalek eye stalk like a wand.
And with that wand he’s making sparks fly. Look at the Doctor getting all Harry Potter on the pepper pots.
It looks like the TARDIS has landed inside of a building or perhaps a spaceship’s corridor.
Obviously the evil antagonist of the episode making evil gestures regarding her evil plan of evil. How evil.
If looks could kill…and hers probably do.
Honestly, I have no idea why Clara’s holding a turkey in the snow.
