Shield has been a hit and miss show for me over the season. One of its biggest weaknesses has been the Coulson plot line. I get that he died in the Avengers movie but it is fairly obvious whats going on. The audience picked up on it day one. I think they are using it as their one tie back to the big films but they need to drop it. There has been some better character building stories over the last few episodes that I would like to see them explore. It appears come this January we will finally get the Coulson secret out of the way so we can move on.
