Bitten Review – Trespass

Things really got a lot more intense in this week’s episode.

Bitten - Season 1

Elena decides to stay until the Mutt is captured – the fact that he’s killed a child gets to her. Jeremy sends Elena and Clay to town to try to find any clues to the Mutt’s whereabouts, and assigns Nick, Peter and Logan to get a hold of a packless werewolf named Karl Marsten to see if he has any information about who bit the murderous Mutt.  Meanwhile, Jeremy and Antonio deal with the police.

Jeremy gets Elena to tell him about Philip when he shows her the flowers Philip had sent her. She’s keeping secrets from Jeremy and the pack as well as Philip and her friends in Toronto, but she’s obviously not ready to deal with just how much of a lie her life is.

The meeting  with Karl shows that not all Mutts are crazy killers. Logan said that Karl a sociopath and a con artist, but he was polite and told them he’d try to get them some information simply for Jeremy considering his request to have his own territory – something that’s not usually allowed. Could he be up to something, or does he just want to settle down?

Elena gets in over her head when she confronts the Mutt by herself at the rave. She may not trust Clay or herself with Clay, but she needs his help. The scene where Clay kills the man who was bitten by the Mutt and would change was an interesting one. Up until this point, Clay has come off as a violent man with a quick temper who’s barely under control, but he seemed to regret having no choice but to kill the man – and he did it by suffocating him while holding him. He could have done it in any number of ways, but this was surprisingly compassionate. Things that make you go hmm…

Trespass2

Elena and Logan head back to Toronto to find that their significant others have planned a dinner together. Once again, Elena and Logan have to get their lies straight, but the dinner is still strained. Things only get worse when Clay calls Logan with terrible news – Peter has been killed, apparently by yet another Mutt. It was something of a shock to see what appeared to be a main character killed off so soon. But one thing is certain – Logan and Elena are going right back to Stonehaven.

She spends a lot of time at concerts, enjoying a variety of music with an emphasis on alternative rock, and at Dallas Stars’ games. She previously ran a Harry Potter fanfiction website and has helped to run numerous Harry Potter conferences as well as present at them.
