Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” comes back next week, March 4th. Before you tune back in, we thought you’d like a recap of some major plot points so far.

We’ve gotten some of our questions answered and had many more left to our imagination. With “S.H.I.E.L.D.’s” return next week we might find some more answers. We’ve learned what happened to Coulson after he died in possibly the most tragic episode ever. Seeing Coulson begging to die was terrible, but also enlightening in terms of many of our characters. We’ve learned that Skye’s past is somewhat of a mystery, and she may not be entirely human. Melinda May’s past has been uncovered along with her relationship with Coulson and why they have such a trusting relationship. I’m still waiting for Fitzsimmons to become a true thing, but I’m prepared to wait if it means that we get the slow burn, and really what is better than nerd love? We still don’t know enough about Agent Grant for me to be happy, but piece by piece our favorite characters are becoming less of a mystery.

There are many things I am hoping the second half of the season brings. With “How I Met Your Mother” ending I’m hoping we get some Maria Hill action happening before too long. I need more answers about the bad guys. Right now they are almost imaginary and unbelieveable, I need our agents to get some more face time for them to be a serious threat. And, I want our characters to be fully formed. I want to know all the things they don’t want to tell each other, because we are the audience, and that is what we want; to root for them and understand them.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be back on March 4th at 8/7c on ABC.
