Fans of Firefly, Dollhouse, and tons of animated fare packed the hall for the Alan Tudyk panel at Wizard World New Orleans and it was one of the most fun panels of the weekend. Moderated by Aaron Sagers of Paranormal Pop Culture, the panel was hilarious from start to finish and Tudyk really seemed to be enjoying himself. As a fan, I know I definitely had fun so I thought I’d share a few clips from one of the most enjoyable hours of the con.
This first clip is from the very start of the hour. Apparently, Alan was supposed to attend a Firefly-related event with Nathan Fillion, but forgot and ended up in New Orleans. He enlisted the aid of the audience in making an apology video to send to Fillion and this is how it went.
If you don’t know what “A Cajun In Your Pocket” is, you’re about to find out. Besides the amusing gift, Tudyk talks about the idea of Firefly returning and the problems of getting his character, Wash, back on the show.
Naturally, questions tend to skew towards Firefly, but there’s one question many fans likely have pondered: “Will Alan Tudyk ever be on Castle?” Here’s the answer to that question.
