This episode was full of fighting and serious butt-kicking!
So Phillip comes back to the apartment after spending the night at a hotel and talking to his sister, Diane, about the fact that Clay and Elena were once together. In a strange turn of events, Phillip actually proposes and tells Elena they can run away together to escape her family’s enemies. Annnd there goes his spine, again. Elena’s great and he’s in love, but really?? Throwing away his business and his family like that, when he still doesn’t know the secrets she’s keeping? Elena freaks out – understandably – and sneaks away from Clay and Phillip.
Poor Rachel. Logan really freaked her out with his sudden, intense need to get out of Toronto, but luckily Elena came along at just the right time to convince her that Logan wasn’t crazy and that yes, they really did need to leave town. Then, after Elena leaves, Marsden and Le Blanc break into their townhouse and Logan kicks their butts! He doesn’t kill either of them, but unfortunately he does get stabbed. He tells Rachel to take him to Stonehaven, not knowing that Jeremy and Nick have left for Toronto…
Back at Stonehaven, Jeremy and Nick are delayed when the FBI show up to further investigate on their property. But it actually ends well when the FBI discovers Le Blanc’s fingerprints on the man’s body, and they’ve already found out that Le Blanc crossed the border into Canada. So hooray for everyone in the Pack finally being cleared! Now we just have to hope that they won’t arrive in Toronto too late…
Phillip and Clay are having a mostly-civil discussion about where Elena might be and whether or not Clay’s still in love with her when Santos and Victor Olsen break in and another crazy fight starts. Sadly, Phillip is no match for werewolves and he’s stabbed pretty early, but Clay nearly takes out both Santos and Olsen on his own. If Santos hadn’t managed to inject Clay with some knockout drugs while Elena was in the bedroom scaring Phillip out of his mind, the fight would’ve ended differently. But now the Mutts have Clay, and they’re no doubt going to take their time torturing him. Eeeeep.
Good job keeping that wolf thing a secret, Elena. Phillip’s face here says it all – OMGWTFBBQ! My girlfriend turns into a wolf! Oh and I’m bleeding out here. Generally, if a human finds out about the secret, that person has to be killed… will Phillip have to die? Maybe they can convince him that he hallucinated the wolf he saw due to blood loss?
And we FINALLY see the mysterious James Williams again – talking to Santos, not at all shocking. He’s clearly the leader of this Mutt uprising… but who is he and why is he doing this? Next week should be another roller coaster of an episode!
