If you’re a movie fiend and love time travel and sciencey-wiencey goodness, then Dimensions: A Line, A Loop, A Tangle of Threads just may be a movie for you. After finding the movie a little under a year ago, I knew this was one I had to see… and was not disappointed though it took me so long to finally have a chance! The movie did get off to a slow start, but poses some interesting theories about time and time traveling and has a bit of a steampunk style flare to it as well. Ultimately, at the root of it all though, it teaches one important lesson: If you love someone, don’t be afraid to let them know, because you’ll never know when or if you’ll see them again….unless, of course, you figure out how to build a time machine.
Dimensions is set in 1920s England where a brilliant young boy and his two friends are greeted by a visiting professor who introduces them to his theories on time travel. When things go a bit awry after the party, the boy becomes determined to make time travel a reality and dedicates his life to making it happen. With a few twists and turns throughout, I won’t give you any spoilers and seek the wrath of another time-traveling lady, so I’ll just leave you with this trailer and all the links you need to find it on your own!
You can purchase the movie, (if you don’t find the price too steep, which honestly, it is for an indie movie) at various locations throughout the interwebs and if you want to keep up-to-date on Dimensions (perhaps in hopes of the price coming down so you can see it, too), clickses on the linkses for more!
