MTV Shares A Sneak Peek of ‘The Maze Runner’

 

When Thomas (O’Brien) wakes up trapped in a massive maze with a group of other boys, he has no memory of the outside world other than strange dreams about a mysterious organization known as W.C.K.D. Only by piecing together fragments of his past with clues he discovers in the maze can Thomas hope to uncover his true purpose and a way to escape. Based on the best-selling novel by James Dashner.

Another Dystopian book series, The Maze Runner hopes to become the next be franchise and is bringing with it the best young talent out there, to bring in the youth demo they are aiming for. Some of the cast include Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Will Poulter, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Aml Ameen. Dylan has been on fire with his split personality on Teen Wolf as the NoKitsune.

Currently the book series is a trilogy with 1 prequel book. If all goes well, this film could bring with it another 2 movies. With some of the young talent that they have on this movie, I have high hopes it will be good. The trailer is awesome and it has me greatly excited to see this film and its right on my birthday. But don’t let me be the judge, judge for yourself with these teasers.

The Maze Runner hits theaters September 19th.
