Oh my gosh I just don’t know what to say about tonight’s season finale. I am left with an ominous feeling, tears in my eyes and just…well speechless.
I don’t want to give away too much of this episode becuase honestly it is something that needs to be watched for ones self. If someone told me what happened I just wouldn’t be able to believe them unless I saw it with my own two eyes, and I almost wish I hadn’t seen it. Jest aside it was a gripping finale.
I had read that there was going to be something introduced in this season that could, of fans want it too, keep the show running for many more season. When I read that I was so happy, but now I am not so sure. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE that we have a season 10, but I wasn’t sure I was ready to pay that price for it. So I am left sitting here wondering if our issue riddled duo will now become hunter and hunted….I just can’t get my mind around that. Can it be true?
So let me see what can I tell you about? I can tell you that there is a major showdown between Metatron and Dean with an ending I really didn’t see coming especially since many of the other showdowns have ended a certain way.
I can tell you in typical manor that before entering into that showdown Dean knocked Sam out so he couldn’t help in ‘his fight”.
I can also tell you that the Winchester Brothers love each other and Dean, no matter how stubborn he is, just always want to keep his kid brother safe and will go an lengths to do it.
Another thing I can point out to you, reader, is that Crowley had a big part of allow Dean into this showdown and that he suspected something major about the first blade that he never shared with Dean, knowing it would be a deal breaker…..DAMN YOU CROWLEY!!!!!
At the end of the show we are left wondering about the fate of our favorite characters. We wonder what is going to happen to Cas if he doesn’t replenish his Grace….and we wonder what is going to happen to our beloved Winchesters because we know life as we know is never going to be the same.
Okay I am so sorry that my recap is very vague, but I just can’t bring myself to ruin one moment of this for anyone.
So this season, for the most part, has been decent, but the last two episodes have blown me away and I am eager for Season 10 this fall. Sadly I have to tell you that I will not be reviewing the show next season. This is my last review for Threeifbyspace. I am trying my hand at finishing one or more of my books.
