This issue still feels a bit like a transition issue, we are just waiting for the band to get back together so to say. And with Faith getting a telling off for nearly killing her rock-star-cum-monster-client from her new boss Kennedy and Angel running into a very pissed off Pearl (from Pearl and Nash naughty baddies from last season fame) we can start seeing that these two will start to edge towards each other.
Not so much to say about the goings on. Angel goes on a quest, finds a monster and then runs into his tiny pixie nemesis who now has a new BFF in the form of Pearl. Everyone wants to kill Angel it seems. Faith on the other hand is not getting on with employment at all.
Even if it is a bit of a transitional issue it is still good, enjoying both the writing and the artwork. I did quite like Pearl and Nash so glad to see a baddie a bit more substantial than the pesky Pixxie mobster. So let’s get the band back together and get this show on the road!
