Orphan Black at SDCC 2014: Co-Creators John Fawcett & Graeme Manson

Our final round of interviews with the Orphan Black group was with John Fawcett and Graeme Manson, the geniuses responsible for the creation of this insanely entertaining show.  They brought up the comic book based on the show and how it gives them a chance to add to the series’ mythology in ways they couldn’t with the television series alone.  We learn that Fawcett has a huge collection of board games and how Project Castor fits into the larger storyline.

I also couldn’t help but ask if they have any plans to try and top the infamous “Clone Club Dance Party” scene.  I threw down the gauntlet and suggested they attempt “Clone Twister” next season.  That would probably be a bit too much for the amazing visual effects company Intelligent Creatures, but only because of scheduling.  Given the time and budget they have the artistic talent to pull it off.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed that maybe we’ll get another multi-clone scene, even if it’s not a game of Twister.
