Travel Like the “Guardians of the Galaxy” With Galaxy Getaways

By: Tom Gardiner July 4, 2014
Movie Reviews Galaxy Getaways, Guardians of the Galaxy, marvel, scifi

“Some of the most beautiful destinations on Earth look like $#!t compared to the rest of the galaxy.” – Galaxy Getaways

Are five-star accommodations just not cutting it for you any more?  Have you been everywhere and seen everything Earth has to offer?  If so, Galaxy Getaways is for you.  With six-star offerings (that’s a whole star more than anything Earth’s shoving in your face) and a choice of three very different destinations, you can’t go wrong.

Well, maybe you can, but let’s not dwell on that.

The creative geniuses behind Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy have put together a travel website that lets you plan a trip to one of three locations.  You’ve got the high-tech ultra luxury of Xandar, the rugged and uninhabited Morag, and the “everything goes” party atmosphere of Knowhere.  There’s something for everything everyone.

The site also has an “I am Groot” game where you try and spot Groot hiding in the flora.  It wouldn’t be complete without the done-to-death style quiz “Which Guardian of the Galaxy are you?”

Visit Galaxy Getaways and book your trip today.

Senior Editor for Three If By Space. Tom first became interested in science fiction & science as a very young child thanks to his parents. His earliest memories of enjoying scifi were sitting with his dad watching first-run episodes of the original Star Trek. Although a fan of nearly all forms of scripted television, Tom’s preferences skew heavily toward hard science fiction.
