Amanda Rosewater started out season 2 in a very dark place. Having taken over the need want from Kenya after she disappeared, Amanda got into all the bad habits including an adreno addiction. With the E-Rep having control over Defiance she has had to adapt to the new situation but new secrets will be revealed that could destroy Amanda.
The theme of this season has been trust and relationships and Amanda is at the center of several of those. She loses touch with reality due to an ego implant that goes bad but she still doesn’t trust most people in town. In fact, Julie teases us about her relationship with Nolan and how that will be tested in the latter half of season 2.
Another secret revealed is that Kenya may make a return later in the season and when Amanda finds out what happened, the one and only friend she thought she had might be shattered. How will Amanda handle that situation? Julie is such a fun person to interview and she was great and stringing us along with spoilers!
