This week’s Doctor Who episode Time Heist takes us far away from last week’s fear-filled, and tear-filled, story. Instead of looking to get out of a spaceship at the end of the universe, the Doctor and Clara are forced into robbing “the most dangerous bank in the cosmos” for reasons yet to be revealed.
What makes this bank so darned dangerous, anyway? Do they make you walk barefoot across a floor strewn with Legos? It doesn’t look very dangerous, but that Teller dude is not someone I’d want to cross.
Y’know, that outfit the Teller has on reminds me an awful lot of the oft-used orange spacesuit.
Episode Five – Time Heist
The Doctor turns bank robber when he is given a task he cannot refuse: steal from the most dangerous bank in the cosmos. With the help of a beautiful shape-shifter and cyber-augmented gamer, the Doctor and Clara must fight their way past deadly security and come face to face with the fearsome Teller, a creature of terrifying power that can detect guilt. Written by Stephen Thompson (Sherlock) and Steven Moffat (Sherlock), directed by Douglas Mackinnon (Silent Witness), and guest starring Keeley Hawes (Upstairs, Downstairs), Time Heist premieres Saturday, September 20 at 9:00pm ET.
