Slowly, almost glacially, the official Outlander store has been adding new merchandise. Personally, I think they’re missing the mark in a big way, but they only have to look at this week’s Wedding episode to find some terrific pieces that fans would GRAB. I’m waiting for some interesting clothing or jewelry (ANY jewelry) items before making my Christmas list for hubbie, but I’d like to know if you would buy some of the things we saw this week, were they to appear in the official Store. EDITED TO ADD: Today (Monday, Sept. 22), the Official Outlander store added Claire’s ring and Ellen’s pearl necklace. But before you go running over there, the ring is $250 – and it’s not shown what metal it’s made out of – and the necklace is a more reasonable $59.99, but it gives no length and no indication of these are real or fake pearls. I am just amazed at this.
