Doctor Who: The Complete Eighth Series Lands On DVD/BluRay In December

So how’s this for fast service?  There are still three episodes of Doctor Who left to air in the eighth series, but BBC Home Entertainment has already announced the release date for the DVD/BluRay set.  The final episode of this series, Death in Heaven, will be broadcast on November 8 and you’ll be able to purchase the entire series on December 9.  That’s almost no wait time at all and plenty of time to have it under the Christmas tree for all your favorite Whovians … and one for yourself!
