Sword Art Online’s second season just finished the Phantom Bullet arc of Gun Gale Online. Starting next week, the next arc Calibur starts and the fans are very excited to see the series push forward. I personally enjoyed the Phantom Bullet arc, which reminded me a lot of the first arc from season 1. The second half of the first season moved away too much from what made Sword Art Online great.
Season 2 so far has brought back the look and feel of the first season. Tonights episode is a recap of sorts that prepares us for the push into the next two arcs. Check out the new promo trailer for the Calibur and Mother’s Rosary Arcs. The trailer doesn’t really show us anything other than the posters, which you can see below. There is no clear indication on when or if the series will move into the fourth series arc Underworld. However, based on the fact that Calibur is only set to last 3 episodes, before moving into Mothers Rosary and there are still 10 episodes to air its safe to assume they will likely start it at the end of the second season.
