A demon with a killer appetite is unleashed in Atlanta: When Constantine’s (Matt Ryan) old friend Gary Lester (guest star Jonjo O’Neill) accidentally releases a powerful demon in Atlanta, John is forced to determine exactly what he is prepared to sacrifice in his battle with the underworld. Gary, one of John’s Newcastle gang, reveals more about the incident with Astra that ended up with the loss of John’s soul to the Devil.
In a conference phone call with reporters today, David S. Goyer and Daniel Cerone, the show’s executive producers, said that this episode was “literally ripped from the pages of Hellblazer. It sets the bar for the season, and is everything we hoped this show could be and could do. Before end of season, you’ll get to meet and know every one of John’s friends from Newcastle.” I’ll publish the entire transcript of the call tomorrow!
