After 5 seasons, Falling Skies is coming to an end. The final 10 episode season wrapped production last week in Vancouver and as the cast went to set for their last days, each tweeted out photos and comments. It’s bittersweet for us, as Falling Skies was the reason this site was founded. In fact, it served as inspiration for our name. “Three If By Space” is a play off the revolutionary war theme within Falling Skies. One if by land, two if by sea, referred to Paul Revere.
Season 5 picks up after the 2nd mass manage to survive a ground assault from the Espheni who used new tactics to trap and transform humans into alien-hybrid creatures. Tom and his half alien daughter managed to destroy the moon base which was being used to control alien operations across the globe. At the very end of the season, Tom is faced with yet another alien race, one the Espheni fears.
The writers have a lot of story plots they need to wrap up in season 5, and 10 episodes is not a lot to do it in. They will need to hit the ground running from the first episode to clear up some of the story holes. The biggest ones right now include a bit more on the war and whose side each race is on, long term ramifications of the powers spiked kids have, are the Volm really trustworthy?
Check out some of the goodbyes and tweets of the cast below and tell us which story line you are most interested to see finished in season 5. The final season is set to air this Summer on TNT.

Did Cochise die in the end… Or is he merely just sleeping on the job? @actordougjones

Even sweet (and gently beautiful) Cochise is melancholy about the series wrap. @actordougjones @FallingSkiesTNT pic.twitter.com/GV3gPRFM3Q
