Itching for some new Outlander merchandise? The Bear McCreary soundtrack wasn’t enough for you? OK, here’s a teaser – threeifbyspace has acquired an exclusive first look at the prototypes for North American Bear’s Jamie and Claire bears!

These prototypes (not final products, details may still change) will be debuted this coming week at Toy Fair in New York. “North American Bear Company will be offering a collection of 12” classic plush bears with felt pawpads in exquisitely styled period outfits indicative of their Outlander characters. The collectible teddy bear debut will feature the central characters of the television series, Jamie Fraser and Claire Randall, in coordinating Outlander tartan plaid outfits. The bear collection will be available in many of our specialty independent gift/toy retailers across the country and online making purchases very convenient for Outlander fans everywhere,” according to today’s press release. The bears are set to be released sometime this summer. My contact tells me that additional bears are scheduled to be released this fall as well!
In more licensed production news, Factory Entertainment released today that they will produce Outlander-related merchandise (this was announced several months ago), but some of these items may also be debuted at Toy Fair next week. As soon as I have details and images, I’ll bring them to you!
And Ripple Junction, who will be producing Outlander tees and fleece, will not be exhibiting at Toy Fair, but they did ask what you want and what you’d be interested in buying. There have been many beautiful tees and shirts produced by Outlander fans – what’s been your favorite? Why did you like it?
