Over the past two seasons of Orphan Black, we’ve learned a lot about Sarah and her “seestras”. For most of their lives, none of them had any clue that the others even existed. Now, most of them have formed a tight, if not dysfunctional, family bond. While there’s still some strife, they now have a surprise foe in the form of Project Castor, the male counterpart to the ladies’ Project Leda. It’s not good news, but that should strengthen their bonds if for nothing other than a sense of survival.
The show gave us only a little taste of some of the Castor clones in season two, with Mark, Rudy, and Seth stirring up trouble. Season three looks to make Project Castor the main antagonist in what’s certain to be a clone-on-clone war that will no doubt make for some pretty spectacular television.
Earlier today, the official Orphan Black Twitter account tweeted the following video. It’s called Orphan Black Season 3 Insider: The Castor Clones and it gives us a better grasp of how the male-centric cloning project contrasts with Leda’s ladies.

These guys are not only crazy and edgy, but organized and have been aware of one another since birth. This gives Project Castor an early advantage against Sarah and company, but never bet against an angry mother and her identical copies. This will be a fun fight, but in the end we all know Castor will fall. Enjoy the fight!
