What a start to Season Two! Bitten picks up three days after the Season One finale – and jumps right back into the madness!
Nate was clearly a traitor to the Pack, but who was torturing him for information? How did he end up dying when he reached the perimeter?
It was no surprise that the Pack leaders told Jeremy that he needed to deliver Malcolm’s head if he wanted to stay in control of his Pack. Finding out that the plot to fund Malcolm’s mutt uprising was actually a play by the South American Pack leader, Hector, was something of a surprise. He’s definitely a weasel, not a wolf! And he’s very lucky Jeremy didn’t kill him… though if he doesn’t prove himself useful enough, he might not be living much longer. At least Jeremy and Nick got some good info out of him.
That weird symbol that was on the people Clay and Elena killed at the docks… then again at the house where Malcolm and his gang were holed up with Rachel… and Malcolm kept drawing… what in the world is it?? Malcolm tells Clay that they should keep him alive because there’s something coming, and he warns Elena, too. It’s all very weird and very, well, spooky. And scary! Clay – he’s an anthropology professor, remember? – is heading off to investigate the symbol with some of his academic buddies. It’ll be interesting to find out what he discovers.
Who are these women following after Malcolm? What’s with the weird eye and then later, them sitting in the grass near Stonehaven with candles, and it looked like the one woman was possessed or something? There is a LOT of weirdness going on suddenly… and that’s saying something when you’re already watching a show about werewolves!!
It looks as though the same people who had Nate – and now have his wolf body and are doing an autopsy – have Rachel, and they seem to be doing an amniocentesis, which is a medical procedure where they draw amniotic fluid to test for everything from genetic disorders to the sex of the fetus. No doubt these people are trying to find out what causes a fetus to turn werewolf, but who. are. they??? And what else will they do to Rachel and the unborn child??
The first episode back had a lot going on! Here’s to the rest of the season, and getting some answers!!
