It’s Star Lord v Reptar in New Jurassic World Trailer

By: Tom Gardiner April 20, 2015
Movie News Chris Pratt, Jurassic World, Steven Spielberg, trailer

So guys, after the first spate of movies proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that it’s a really bad idea to make a theme park filled with dinosaurs that want to eat you, the new Jurassic World tries something different.  They decided the one thing that’ll make the park better is to have a genetically-modified dinosaur that’s really smart, really evil (yes, it’s just plain mean), and really hungry.  Yeah, this’ll end well, especially after how it ended with “regular” (aka – Non GMO) dinos.

Okay, maybe it will end well.  After all, Star Lord himself (Chris Pratt) is there as the man who Dances With Raptors.  Somehow, I don’t think a chorus line of prehistoric carnivores is going to help much, but it’ll make for one hell of a show.  My only question is, will they go with a classic soundtrack a la Guardians of the Galaxy?  I think Pratt should’ve insisted on it, because I’m pretty sure most park patrons are going to end up meeting the Spirit in the Sky.

Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. Colin Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure based on the novel “Jurassic Park” by Michael Crichton. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley join the team as producers.

**A HUGE thanks goes out to our good friends over at FanBolt.com for poking me with a stick and alerting me to this new trailer.  Thanks, guys!!**
