The whole Scoobie gang is desperately trying to battle the pesky Archeus, who seems to have possessed the demon in Spike and is trying to force him to kill Buffy. Buffy decides to trust in Spike and lays down her weapons and put her hope in his love for her. Of course Spike overcomes his puppetmaster and concentrates his anger on Archeus instead. But he is just too strong for the gang. In the end it is carpenter Xander who figures out the building will implode, due to some rather sorry beams, and they leave it just in time to watch the whole thing collapse on Archues ugly head.

Archeus isn’t beaten, but kept busy for the moment, so the scoobies retreat to their apartment block, where they go through their options of what to do next. Willow isn’t very keen on contacting her ex snake girlfriend for help, nor are they very keen on getting D’hoffryn to help them. In the end Spike begrudgingly picks up his phone to call that Wanker in Magic Town, UK, Captain Forehead himself; Angel…

The other thing worth mentioning is that Xander and Dawn part ways for real this time. Xander says he will just be her friend for now, sure he hopes something more will come of it, but for now, friendship it is.

Next up for are moving into cross-over territories where Angel and and Buffy I guess will once again be reunited. As a big Spuffy fan I am of course hoping that this doesn’t mean they are about to kill off Spike and Buffy just yet, as they are growing stronger and stronger by each issue. Sure this is Whedonverse, so you know it won’t last, but I reckon both of them deserves happiness to last for a few more issues at least!  But I am not complaining, issue after issue are just better and better. Season 10 is just wonderful and it feels like hopefully with this new big bad on the horizon it will keep on preforming!
