The Daleks are infamous for their cold, emotionless behavior. Those angry little tanks of death really know how to put the “mean” in “demeanor” like no one else. You already know it’s really easy to annoy a Dalek, the simple fact that you exist whips them into a murderous frenzy, but if you really want to stir them up just try kidnapping their Dad. In the second sneak peek from this Saturday’s episode, The Witch’s Familiar, we get to see exactly how they react to Davros being taken from his life-sustaining room.
I’m guessing the Doctor or Missy, or perhaps both, are trying to spirit Davros away from his protective chamber for their own purposes. Naturally, this elicits a lot of angry shouting by the Daleks, as if they know any other way to communicate. Davros begs the Daleks to help him, but instead of saying, “rescue me” he tells them the Doctor is escaping and they need to find the Doctor. That feels a little odd to me. Perhaps there’s something fishy on Skaro.
