No matter how much we love Doctor Who, sometimes life’s unexpected circumstances prevent us from being able to watch. Most of the time it’s ordinary things like having some real-life social obligation, getting stuck working late, or just thinking we set the DVR and discovering we screwed up. The occurrence of this has got to be very small, but tonight as I was live tweeting the episode, a couple of people mentioned their cable companies didn’t offer BBC America. That’s gotta sting.
Anyway, if you missed the season nine premiere, The Magician’s Apprentice, or if you just want to watch it again, and you live in the U.S.A. (Sorry, everyone else. Please don’t kill the messenger.), BBC America is offering it absolutely free via their YouTube channel. For your convenience, and just because I’m so damned happy you stopped by, I’ve embedded it right here. So sit back, relax, and enjoy. Please, don’t forget to tweet BBC America (@BBCAMERICA) thanking them for their generosity. This was a very cool move on their part.
Before you watch the episode, you really need to check out the 6 1/2 minute “minisode” prequel here:

Then check out two trailers for episode 902 – one from the UK and the other from the US here:
