On Into The Badlands: Two Tigers Subdue Dragons – Sunny and M.K. try to figure out how to control the boy’s power, while Quinn sets a dangerous parlay with a rival Baron to help fight The Widow. MK has a lot of training still before he can even hope to make it out of the badlands and Sunny is trying to teach him but didn’t have a lot of luck last week. Based on the preview below we will finally get to see MK use his power out in the open but what that will mean for him and Sunny remains to be seen.
Last episode Veil has found herself right in the middle of a very dangerous situation after saving Ryders life, now Quinn wants her to save his life. Even knowing that he is sick is a death sentence for her if she cannot save him. Veil had several cute scenes with M.K., teasing Sunny that it could be good practice for the future (hinting about them having a child). I am hoping we see more of that before the end of the season.
Into The Badlands has been very successful following The Walking Dead with 6.3 million LIVE viewers for its premiere and 4.8 in week two. That makes it cables #2 program on Sunday nights right now. Many have complained they are ‘forced’ to watch to wait for walking dead previews and talking dead after show. However, the strategy has proven AMC knows how to market their shows. In DVR viewing numbers, Into The Badlands grew to over 8.2 million viewers in its premiere.
