This time last year, I held my first Outlanderesolution contest. It was so much fun, I’m doing it again! What’s an Outlanderesolution? It’s your promise to yourself having something to do with our beloved book series and show – how you’re going to be more like Jamie, Claire, Roger, Bree (or even Angus, if that’s your thing); that you’ll be inspired by Diana to write that book; how you’ll connect or reconnect with Scotland, your Scottish roots (or your self-selected Scottish roots), your Outlander friends; etc.
Last year, my personal Outlanderesolutions were to conduct more interviews (somewhat successful, I was able to attend the press roundtables at ComicCon and particpate on the red carpet in New York); effect some kind of change with the official Outlander store (not successful, but at least I think I’ve had some impact with the licensees); and to get to know more of you fellow Outlander fans (VERY successful!).
This year, I’m definitely going to renew my interview Outlanderesolution. There may be a couple more in there, but that’s all I’m publicly declaring at this point. I’m more interested in what your resolutions are – and I’m willing to bribe you to reveal them. I have a handful of fun prizes: an official Outlander 2016 calendar; an unofficial 2016 calendar (I made it on Shutterfly, and mine has 2nd half of the season and Season 2 photos); a copy or two of the January The Box magazine with Sam’s picture on it. I’m not sure at this point how many prizes I have, but it’s plenty!
How do you try to win one? Go to the Rafflecopter box below and enter there. One of the entries is to leave a comment with your resolution – it’s not required to enter, but it’s fun! If you’re going to leave a comment as an entry, though, you must check off that box or your comment won’t count (because I won’t see it as an entry when I go to Rafflecopter). Winners will be chosen at random, and winners can choose the prize they want in the order that I contact them. In addition to the random winner, I’ll choose one Outlanderesolution that I think is particularly … funny, touching, whatever… and include that person among the prize winners.
