It’s been weeks since we last saw the boys in their latest predicaments, but with January 20th quickly approaching, we’ll soon be able to see the Winchesters back in action and saving the day however they can manage it. In the upcoming episode, “Devil in the Details,” Sam finds himself back in the cage with Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) while Dean and Castiel investigate the apparent smiting of Amara. LUCIFER MAKES SAM AN OFFER — Now that he has Sam (Jared Padalecki) in the cage with him, Lucifer (guest star Mark Pellegrino) offers Sam a way out but it comes with a steep price. Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) look into the angel smiting that could have killed Amara (guest star Emily Swallow). Thomas J. Wright directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb (#1110). Original airdate 1/20/2015.
