Thanks to ShadowhuntersTV, there are four official preview scenes you can watch of ‘Shadowhunters’ Episode 6, ‘Of Men and Angels’, ahead of Tuesday’s airing on Freeform (9pm/8c).
Synopsis:
“With Luke in dire need of help, Jace, Clary and Simon take him to Magnus’ lair in hopes of saving his life.
Once there, the story of how Valentine came to be evil, and Jocelyn and Luke’s past, is revealed to Clary in hopes of triggering her memory of what happened to The Mortal Cup.
Meanwhile, Isabelle and Alec are tasked to restore their family name in the eyes of The Clave.” (Trailer 0:29)
Then there’s these scenes, which show us three different types of drama! I’ll just leave these here…
1 Jealousy, defensiveness and hurt feelings from Jace and Simon, are a dangerous combination! (1:21) ‘Jace pushes Simon too far’.
It seems that Jace is touchy about Simon’s relationship with Clary but even more touchy about his own relationship with Alec.
Jace is at his least likeable, but I did not see Simon’s reaction coming!
“Keep up Mundane”
“I have a name”
“Learning it would mean I care, so, no.”
2 The importance of family honour and pride for Izzy’s family. (0:49) ‘Izzy gets a stern talking to, from daddy’.
Why does Robert Lightwood think this is Izzy’s fault? Izzy’s parents seem to be pretty hard on her!
“Now the Clave thinks our family honour is beyond repair.”
3 Pressure on Clary to figure out where the Mortal Cup is, even though her memories have been lost forever. (0:44) ‘Luke and Clary put their heads together’
It’s great to see that Luke is OK, but he’s putting pressure on Clary: “It all starts and ends with you.”
