Co-Keynotes Join Nelson George, Gale Anne Hurd and Joe Swanberg

 

Austin, Texas – February 29, 2016 – The South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Film Conference and Festival announced its last Conference Keynote featuring Academy Award-nominated actress and activist Ellen Page and Ian Daniel, co-creators of the new documentary series Gaycation. Page’s body of work toggles between independents and tentpoles and she is now increasingly stepping behind the camera as a producer. Page and Daniel will discuss their careers, the equality movement and cultural attitudes towards LGBTQ people on Saturday, March 12 at 11:00 AM. SXSW takes place in Austin, Texas from March 11-19, 2016.

This marks the fourth and final Film Keynote for the 2016 event. Previously announced 2016 SXSW Film Keynotes are Nelson George, Gale Anne Hurd and Joe Swanberg.
