I have to give Jeremy some props in this situation, but only because he did not just hand over Sasha to Roman. I do not like how he thinks he can dictate what is going to happen in every given situation. I understand that he is the pack leader, but I would not want to be told what I can and cannot do. Especially if it involves a member of my family, and a family I did not know I had.
While I am glad that he is willing to help Sasha out in his feud with Roman, he doesn’t have the right to set the kinds of conditions that he did. Elena has her own mind, and she should have been allowed a voice in this situation, because that is her biological family. It doesn’t meant that she would turn her back on the people that she has considered family all these years. She tried that before, and it didn’t really work out that well for her. Jeremy did not really leave Sasha a choice, not if he wanted his help, at any rate.
I was not feeling Jeremy in the last episode, and I was definitely not feeling him in this one either. When I think back on my binge watching session of this show, I recall having a like/dislike relationship with Jeremy. I wanted to like him, and I still do, but I am not quite there yet. I think it would take him changing his old ideals, and ways of running a pack, in order for him to be well liked by me. The times, they have been a changing, and evolving for a long time, Jeremy, you would be much better off if you changed with them!
In fact, this whole situation could have been avoided if they would have changed their ways long ago. This whole feud began because women are not supposed to know about the wolf pack. Roman still sent a wolf (Sasha) to look after this daughter, someone who was not supposed about them, and Sasha fell in love with her. He had no way of knowing they would fall in love, but he is still the one who opened up that can of worms.
When Roman found out that Sasha had told her of their secret, he had to kill her, and of course he blames Sasha. Personally, I think they are both to blame. If not for the ban on women knowing their secret, then Roman’s daughter would never have been in danger of finding out, and Sasha should never have told her, knowing the kind of man Roman was.
Meanwhile, Elena has been having fun with Konstantin back at the tannery. I imagine she would rather be anywhere but there at that moment. It’s not every day that you find out you have brand new family, and family members that are on opposite sides of a blood feud to boot. Elena, and her dear Uncle Konstantin get into a massive fight, and he ends up with a crushed hand before he finally runs away. He should have already know that she would not be so easy to kill! Elena would never go down without a fight!
Of course, Jeremy’s plan doesn’t go as planned, I mean do they ever really? Roman is not a man that I would ever trust to go along with any plan a person may have. He is just too hell bent on his revenge, and I knew he would try to kill Sasha, and not give a damn who else he hurt in the process. Here is where “Just” Karen came into play, you just knew that she would not leave well enough alone. She witnesses her first werewolf change, courtesy of young Alexei (his first change) and Roman attacks, injuring her and Sasha. You really should have stuck to being “Just” Karen there lady, you would have been better off.
Roman ends up getting away, with the counterfeit plates Jeremy offered as compensation of letting the blood feud go. I still think Jeremy should have known that this offer would not appease Roman, especially after hearing the reason why he hated Sasha. So, now the pack has quite the dilemma, because Roman wants all traces of Sasha’s bloodline killed, and that includes Elena. I highly doubt Jeremy, or Clay would just sit back and take that.
Jeremy may not have wanted war, but they sure do have one on their hands now. I felt bad for Alexei having his first change without anyone available to really help him out. He really just should have stayed put, and now the poor pup has a human death on his hands! I think Roman better watch his back, because his granddaughter is a pretty bad arse wolf, who just so happened to have that vision again. I just hope that her vision is not of killing everyone in the pack.
Who do you think Alexei killed? How do you think Jeremy will deal with Karen when he learns what she saw? Sound off below!
