This episode is called “Malec”, and the pre-released photos show Alec marrying Lydia. Any guesses what’s going to happen?
Leaving it until the actual ceremony is really cutting it fine! Maybe the wedding scene is a dream?

Magnus is taking the view that “it’s not over until it’s over”, not giving up on Alec while there’s still time for him to change his mind.
Looks like Alec really is leaving his choice until the last possible moment! Awkies!
Now that Lydia has shown us that she isn’t so bad, I feel sorry for her! Being dumped is bad enough, especially if you don’t see it coming. Being dumped in front of family and friends who have travelled especially for your wedding: really not nice! And she wouldn’t even have the comfort of telling them about it, because they were all there!
I think a lot of fans have been willing Malec to happen, though, so if it finally does, there will most likely be great rejoicing! Not just from Magnus and Izzy, who have known all along.

Meanwhile, we see some of the repercussions for Jace, since the Ravener demon poisoned him, he had a blood transfusion, Valentine told him that his father was always an illusion, and he’s been kissing his sister. Even in the Shadowworld, that’s a lot to deal with!

“There’s darkness in me.” Darkness from having some of his life, maybe some of his happy memories or sense of self, burned away? Darkness from his anger and self-loathing: his father called him weak, he thinks there’s something wrong with him, his father is the bad guy, he wants to kills his father, his feelings for Clary are now inappropriate, but that doesn’t necessarily make them go away? Darkness from having inherited his father’s character, or from being taught by him? There’s even the slight possibility that Valentine could have added Downworlder or Demon blood to Jace’s transfusion! (Yeah: very unlikely, but I’m always on the lookout for plot twists!) Simon might be about to move in on Clary? So many sources of Darkness, so much fodder for internal turmoil!

I’m also wondering what those objects on the table are, at the beginning of the preview video. They don’t really look like wedding presents, but everyone is dressed for the wedding. A mission straight after?
