Walker friends, the end is near. The season finale of The Walking Dead, is fast approaching. It is with a heavy heart, that I give you some preview as to what will happen next Sunday night. Episode 616, ‘Last day On Earth’, is upon us.
We know that Daryl has been shot. How bad it is, has yet to be revealed. Norman Reedus says this about Daryl, “You should be very worried about Daryl,” Reedus tells THR. “At the end of the episode, there’s a comment that Dwight makes [‘You’ll be alright’] — and we’re really good about throwing you off base. That comment might not even be to Daryl. It could be to Rosita — or to anybody there. Or it could be to something that some scuffle that happens directly afterward. Do you trust that guy? Anyone automatically assuming that’s the obvious play is trusting words that come out of that guy’s mouth and we’re really good at throwing you for a loop.”
So what are we to think? AMC has a history of throwing us off guard about things we think really happened. Look at Glenn’s fake death. We know from many sources that most of the cast, were sickened, depressed or just plain disturbed by the finale script. So, what does that tell you?
It has taken six seasons, but Negan is here! The much anticipated, (or feared), scene with Negan’s bat Lucille, is almost upon us. Who will it be? Which one of our beloved group will die? In the comic, it’s Glenn. But seriously, do you really think the writers will make it that simple? They have already changed things around a bit. Putting in characters like Daryl, who isn’t even in the comic. Letting Carol live, and become a badass, when she has been dead in the comic for a long while. Additions and subtractions have been frequent, and sometimes nerve wracking! Look at Denise’s death! That belonged to Abe! So I only know what I think. And that is…there will be 2 deaths at the hand (bat), of Negan.
Fans are saying that they will riot if Daryl is killed. Other fans took to Twitter last night, and promised that if Daryl dies, they will stop watching the show. Really people? Get a grip! It’s a TV show! Grow up! In this Zombie world, people will die! It’s not even the walkers that are the biggest threat. It’s the other people!
This show has been part of my Sunday nights for almost 6 years. I never miss it! I always DVR it, so I can rewatch and find things I have missed. I am not giving up on the Walking Dead! I never will! So join me next Sunday night, April 3rd, on Twitter, as I live tweet the finale of season 6, for Threeifbyspace.net. It will be hard. Twitter will probably break. I will probably cuss and I will probably cry. Along with my walker buddies, I will be feeling the same pains that you are feeling as we go through this together…as The Walking Dead family.
